These medium sized choco, beef and mint flavoured/ scented raggers are simply great toys. About 30cm long, and cotton. Good for scent work, teeth cleaning and helping to encourage dogs and puppies to play with you.
Playing tug : Many people think that playing tug is wrong - but that's just wrong!! Provided you teach your dog the rules of the game, playing tuggy with your dog can be a very rewarding experience for both of you.
Scent games / hide and seek : teaching your dog to fetch a hidden toy is also a great mentally challenging game. Being scented, these toys are easier to find than plain raggers.
My dog doesn't like to play! : this is because they've never learned. Play is fun, and being flavoured and scented, your dog or puppy will definitely be attracted to these toys and can be gently encouraged to play with you.
For training : using tuggy in dog training is a great way to teach your dog self control.
NB : never play tuggy with an aggressive dog unless under supervision of a fully qualified trainer/behaviourist.
NB : never play rough tuggy with a puppy before they are a year old - it's bad for their teeth.
